What is New in SNAP 2018?

Symbiosis International University has released the official brochure for SNAP 2018. Registration window will close on November 26, apply at snaptest.org. The examination has seen a lot of changes over the years from its application fee to its exam pattern.

Changes Introduced in SNAP 2018

Listed below are the major changes notified in the official brochure of the examination.

 

Key Changes in SNAP Exam Pattern

Starting with the exam pattern, from SNAP 2018 candidates will have to solve MCQs as well as non-MCQ type questions. In the paper, there will be two types of questions namely Normal and Special Questions. Here are the key changes introduced in SNAP exam for 2018. Check SNAP Exam Pattern

Total Number of Question Reduced

There has been a change in the number of questions as well and with the introduction of non-MCQs, SNAP 2018 will have total 130 questions now unlike 150 questions previously. However, the time duration remains the same i.e. 120 minutes.

Non-MCQs Introduced

SNAP 2018 will have 110 MCQs (Normal) and 20 non—MCQs (Special). You will get four choices for Normal questions. Whereas, for special questions in each section will have blanks where answers will have to be entered using the virtual keyboard.

Section-wise Composition changed

The number of sections is still the same but number of questions in each section has changed. Revised sectional composition is as follows:
